Samantha D. Feleo (b. 1988) is a visual artist and educator whose work occupies the intersection of art and science. Fascinated by the interplay of materiality and meaning, she creates hybrid sculptures using mixed media and synthetic crystals. Her practice investigates the concept of time through an alchemical lens—manipulating matter through accumulation, decay, and regeneration to produce objects that belong to a future state of transformation. By utilizing materials that relinquish absolute control, Feleo's work balances formal precision with emotional depth, mirroring contemporary anxieties while evoking the sublime. A BFA Painting graduate, she is currently an MFA candidate and lecturer at the Department of Art Theory, College of Fine Arts, UP Diliman.
