Jopet Arias is a visual artist and curator whose practice examines the intersections of memory, technology, and movement. As a co-founder of TLYR Collective, he explores how digital tools can document and layer narratives within physical spaces. Moving away from static forms of archiving, his work employs 'living archives'—collaborative systems that record how communities adapt to displacement and change. His interdisciplinary approach integrates traditional media with augmented reality to investigate the continuity of cultural memory. Recent projects include the public installation Walk With Me (2025) and the curated exhibition Whisper of the Tides (2024) for Art Fair Philippines. Through his practice, Arias focuses on establishing dialogue and connection, viewing art as a means to trace lineage and take root in shifting environments.
